Christmas TV!

It's finally Christmas Eve!! And that means only one thing.. Movies! At this time of year there are so many cute movies on tv and also tv show Christmas specials! It's sad that I look forward to watching tv on a day like this but I can't help it, I like films!

I thought I'd write a quick post telling you all my favourite films and tv shows to watch during this faaaab time!

One of my favourite movies to watch is obviously Elf! I'd hope that most of you have seen it but if not, it's about a man named Buddy who was brought up by Santa and his elves and has to go to New York City to find his birth father and start a normal 'human' life.

Will Farrell is one of my favourite actors. He is hilarious, not even gonna lie. I've loved Elf for as long as I can remember. Me, my brother and sister sit with hot chocolate and marshmallows every year watching it with our blankets because we're cool like that!

Secondly, The Grinch! This is such a good film! It's basically about a funny looking green guy who hates Christmas. The classic Dr. Seuss take was made into a film and the grinch is played by Jim Carrey, another one of my favourite actors. Can you tell in like comedy actors?

Once again, I've watched this movie since I can remember every year and it doesn't even have to be Christmas for me to watch it, I love it so much!

Another story I really enjoy at Christmas, as in sure many other do, it's Scrooge/A Christmas Carol. For many years I have loved the muppets version because it's a bit of a creepy story and that made it less traumatising so my mother says.

Although, recently I watched Jim Carreys version and it's amazing! I'm not gonna lie, it was really jumpy at parts but I could bare it.

I wasn't too keen on seeing it when it was released last year as it looked weird... It wasn't real looking people but it wasn't quite a cartoon. It was strange, but I eventually have in and I'm so glad I did, it will now join the annual Christmas movie tradition!

Moving in from films, I'm a huge soaps fan! Mainly Coronation street and Eastenders. They're always full of drama, funnily enough, and the storylines supposted to be amazig! Yaaay! And who can forget DR Who?! Not really sure if that counts as a soap but I'm so excited! I'll miss wee Matt but I'm excited to see how Peter gets on, he is Scottish after all!;)

Well, that's a few of my faves! My days set tonight and tomorrow. I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas and hope santas good to you all! Expect a Christmas present 'haul' in the new year!!

Merry Christmas!

New year, new me!

I've fancied a change for a while now and I've only just got the guts to go for it! If you've noticed my hair at all, you'll know Im brunette. Or at least I was brunette for all of my life and this changed last saturday...

That riiiiiight, I've dyed my hair! I'm not gonna lie, I was terrified while siting getting it done in the hair dressers but know I've had it a few day I really love it! I didn't think it would make much of a difference to my appearance but apparently I look older, but I don't see it. I also look identical to my big sister Rebecca, she's like 22 or something...

I'm a PR for a club called campus and the first picture here is me with mark (one of the support acts for our X factor nights) this was 2 weeks before I dyed my hair. The other picture is the day after I dyed my hair, it even looks shorter. Me no likey!

I really love being blonde and it didn't take long for people to crack the blonde jokes but unfortunately I don't have the cleverness to prove them wrong... Gutted.

But yeah, if anyone is thinking of duig their hair, I recommend it! I've wanted to do it since summer and only just got round to doing it and I'm in love with it!!

Christmas is coming!

It's been a while, blog friends! Well I thought I'd update you on what's been going on in my life over the past few weeks! :)

Firstly, if you've read my wishlist you'll know I wanted a few dresses for my Christmas. Well, I'm happy to say I got one! I wore it to my last ever school dance which I wasn't even plannin to go to until a few hours before! Everyone one of my friends looked stunning with the amount of effort they put in and ten I roll up in my hour and a half old dress like 'heyy' haha I looked a state compared to them! But I'm happy with what I pulled together at the last minute!

To save you looking at the wishlist, here's a pic from the last blog.

I love this dress and I can tell that in going to wea it any chance I get, like Christmas and New Years haha :)

Unfortunately that's all I've got from my wishlist so far but I'm going to get some from my parents like the amazing makeup etc which I'm so excited about!

To go with my dress I also bought this gorgeous necklace! I needed something chunky with a lot of character to go with the simple dress (because a small heart or diamond which I all I have really) wouldn't cut it! :P

I've wanted this style of jewelery or a long time and I finally found one I love! I haven't taken it off.. Well I have but only to sleep ;P

I love when I buy things I plan to wear over and over because it's a great way to save money, rather than buying new things all the time. (Wish I could! #skint)

I can't wait for Christmas to come, it means moneyyyy! Haha, I ry new some right now since my work is closed for Christmas.. Gutted!

Anyway.. Only 4 sleeps until Christmas so I'll leave you with this picture expressin my excitement!!
