And I'm back!...
It's been a while and I apologise by what better way to come back than with a post that's trending all over the place? That's right..
Basically, this is a few questions to find out more about new/old bloopers and to help them get a little more recognition. I love this idea because there are so many bloggers I read who don't have that many followers and they really deserve more because their stuff is fab!
Let's get started!...
1) what made you start your blog?
Well.. I started my blog in September 2013 because I was getting bored writing a diary. I thought I'd start up an online blog as the internet is where I spend the majority of my time anyway. I was influenced by people such as 'Zoella' and 'Sprinkle of glitter' who's YouTube videos I've been watching for years and they praised writing a blog so much! I wanted a place where I could express my thoughts and feelings and I've loved it so far, I must admit that sometimes it feels like I'm talking to myself but I guess that's better than being watched by hundreds o people because some of m posts are a load of crap...
And let's face it, where else can I go on about makeup, fashion and Disney and not be told to shut up?
2) If you could only wear three makeup products, what would you pick and why?
This is easy for me because whenever in in a rush for school I use three basic products so I don't look dead.. Firstly is foundation. I know that it's not essential and an told to be confident without it but if I feel happy with how I look the likelyhood is that I'll have a good day. Second is mascara, most of the time I use two different ones because I like the brushes, one is big with loads of brissels and the other is skinny with less, stiffer brissels to spread out my lashes. I don't think I could leave the house without mascara...
And finally is lipstick. And not lipgloss, I can't stand the stuff, I don't like the feeling at all. I prefer matt lipsticks with a bold colour, don't even know why because I rarely suit them. I'd say my most worn colour is a bright pink which I love!
3) what is your wardrobe staple?
Firstly I had to google the word stable so excuse me if I've got the wrong idea... I'm guessing it's like an essential piece of clothing? If so then I have 3... Number one is a good ok peplum. I think I dress for my body type rather than sticking to a particular style trend... But peplums are amazing. They hide my stomach (I hope) and I have about 6.. They're just fab!
Second is a skater skirt, they are amazing. Once again the hide my stomach but I also love the way they can go with pretty much anything! And thirdly are my leggings/jeggings. They are just the best. I wear them pretty much every day! Yep they're fab.
4) How would you describe your style?
As I said in my previous answer, I don't really have a style. I dress for my body shape and basically, if I like something then I buy it. It also depends on the occasion... If I'm just in the house I will most likely be leggings and top, I I'm going out that the weekend into town shopping, it's usually a casual dress and boots. I also can't dress down.. I'll always have my jewelerry, or something fancy making me look over dressed for most occasions.
5) What is your biggest achievement in your life so far?
This one it me thinking.. I don't think I have one I can take from my whole life because to be honest I'm still young and not really ha the experiences I hope I have when I'm older. If I was to chose something it would be something silly or small like winning a competition in first year because I had te best sandwich in home economics, or becoming a prefect in 6th year (last year) or even one for recently which is this I got an interview for my dream university! Nothing too major, not yet anyway!
6) What is your favourite beauty and hair product of 2013?
My favourite beauty product is probably my Rimmle London lip crayon! It's become my most worn lipstick and it's gorgeous. I love it so much!
My favourite hair product would probably have to be the V05 blow dry spray. It's so good! I have quite thin hair and if I've not curled/crimped it and it's not the day I've just washed it, my hair tends to be crappy. So if I'm not washing it again, like it's the day after I've just washed it, then I used this to give it a little but more life. It's honestly my life saver!
7) What's your guilty pleasure?
I don't know if this counts as 'guilty' but I'm in love with both Disney and musicals. For example, I recently when to see Frozen, the new Disney movie which I don't know was a musical! I've been singing the songs for about 2 weeks non stop and it give me goosebumps every time I listen to the songs! Ahhh I love musicals :D
8) who from anywhere in the world would you like to meet and why?
I would love to meet so many people! I'm a fangirl.. It's fab. But I couldn't narrow I down! It'll put I into catagories... Firstly, actors. I would loooove to meet the who cast of 90210. It's my favourite show and I'm so upset that it's finished:( I hope they do a reunion soon!
The youtuber I'd love to meet is the wonderful Joey Graceffa!! He is my favourite guy youtuber! He's amazing and that's pretty much all I can say because he's just so sweet, kind, caring and funny! I love that he's able to live his dream on YouTube and that that gives his a platform to become an actor, he's areadystarted his own wee series called Storytellers which you should all check out! I would also love to meet the Kardashians because I actually reall like them. So many people say they're stuck up etc but honestly, that's all you see when they're spoke about in the media etc but they're all successful, hardworking people and have got where they are today because of it.
9) do you have an ultimate life ambition?
My ambition is to go to The Royal Conservitoire of Scotland, finish that course as then work all over te world with different productions designing costumes as sets etc because I'm a musical freak... While being a millionaire, famous and married to Jay McGuiness! I don't want much..
10) is there a product that you don't get the hype about?
Yes! Babylips. They've been around for a while and they're basically lip balms. So many people I've seen had not payed any attention to them and now that outliners have said they use them, everyone's going crazy?.. They only like the name and like to think they are like the youtuber because they have the same products. They're just lip balms. Use Vaseline.. It's the shiz.
11) What has been your most pointless purchase?
I'd have to say my Dr. Martians. They're purple and gorgeous but I sounds stupid to say that I don't suit them.. I think you have to have a certain style to pull then off and I think they just look clumpy on me? I dunno but I've only worn then about 3 times and I've had them for since July 2 years ago.. I Gould wear them more!
